We are aware that following the implementation of NCTS6 on 01 June 2026 some customers using third-party software are receiving errors, In Sequoia this results in your declaration showing "Declaration Failed To Send".

This is currently under urgent investigation by HMRC, who are working directly with impacted software developers (SWDs).

What you need to do:

If you are a user of third-party software and receive the above error when submitting a declaration, you should:

Review all declaration data fields to ensure the correct information has been entered
Amend any data that has been entered incorrectly
Attempt to resubmit your declaration

Please do not escalate additional instances of the above to our NCTS Helpdesk or Supervising Office as we have sufficient examples to fully investigate.
